Comments on: Plantronics Voyager 855 Bluetooth headset can be used in mono or stereo

This headset works for calls & iPod on the iPhone, but its volume isn’t loud enough (compared to an original & older Voyager headset on a Nokia) and stereo use is broken or at least troublesome on the iPhone with 3.0

What’s an equivalent to the Plantronics 855 from another manufacturer?

the latter, we all already know the iPhone doesnt currently support audio streaming via bluetooth and i highly doubt Plantronics is the type of company to try and capitalize on people’s stupidity

so the bluetooth headset will work with the iPhone, the audio streaming will not

however there has been mention of the sight of the bluetooth symbol in some of the new iPod Touch pictures, so that might support streaming audio via bluetooth, although i doubt it because jobs would have surely made mention of such a feature

So are they claiming that this will stream audio as well as phone calls on the iPhone? Or that the ear piece is capable of it but will only work with devices that support it?
