There will not be any revolution in mobile computing until I can use a device for the entire work day. 5 hours of battery life doesn't cut it. Speaking of Apple's eMate, that beast ran almost 24 hours between charges. 10 years ago.

None of these companies have been able to figure this out. It's the same design rationale that ships a UMPC with an Ethernet jack. It can't be mobile if it's wired. It can't be mobile if it runs out of juice before the day is done.

If I can get a device that never needs to be plugged in except when I'm asleep, I'll actually buy. Until then, these will all be niche products for people with money to burn.

Palm is dead. I mean really dead. This company has the most backwards management I have ever witnessed. The products are behind the times, they are lacking any innovation. They belong right up there with Iomega. They once had a shot at it all but continued to release lackluster and irrelivant products which continue to disapoint their loyal minions. They should bury themselves.
