Brighthand publish a list of the most popular handhelds and smartphones each month.  The report is compiled based on the number of views each product page receives, so every time visitors click on a product, it counts as a vote that goes towards these monthly rankings.

So how does our beloved iPhone rank among other handheld devices?  Not so good.  In my opinion, it’s like a red head stepchild lost in an unloved family.  It was previously ranked about number 5, dropping to the number 7 slot last month.

Ed Hardy notes that the listing doesn’t really indicate which models are the best selling, just which ones Brighthand readers are most interesting in learning more about.
