New site claims to unlock your iPhone in 48 hours

Is anyone else tired of hearing about people and sites that may potentially be able to unlock the iPhone sometime in the relatively near future? I know that I am, but here’s yet another that promises they can open up your iPhone in just 48 hours.

iphonesimfree.com

Supposedly this new site will be able to completely unlock your iPhone, they just want to wait. They’re gathering up applicants from the media (we’re signed up of course) and then they will select three to actually unlock.

According to their site, you’ll be able to purchase the software to unlock your iPhone sometime after that first 48 hours is up. Is it another hoax? Maybe. Will it completely unlock your iPhone? I seriously doubt it.

I quit linking to guys making dubious claims like this. Why give them the Google juice?
