You’re comparing apples and oranges. Other mobile devices offer a memory slot because there is only 128 MB of memory for RAM/ROM. Hence forcing you to buy a 1 or 2 GB mini or microSD. With the iPhone, you get an integrated 4 or 8GB of memory.
Everyone’s bitching about the lack of 3G – it’s annoying. This is only one aspect of the entire device. You ought to look at what else the iPhone offers that no other mobile devices on the planet can offer.
