I've a feeling the iPhone keyboard will be one of those love-it-or-hate-it things (or, if you're Walt Mossberg, hate-it-then-love-it); to try to pre-empt some of the angst, Apple has quietly added another of its "look, it's only the bloody iPhone!" videos, this time teaching us the best way to use the on-screen 'board.

What's interesting is the floating magnifying glass, a feature not previously seen unless my memory fails me, which can be dragged around the text input panel and used to select text for correction. Whether you want to view that as a clever embellishment to the interface or a panacea for a flawed text-entry method is up to you and, quite probably, your attitude to Apple in general.
