According to a new patent that was filed by Apple shortly before announcing the iPhone, they have developed a way to insure that your wireless signal will be crystal clear and free of interference.

Apple Patent

The patent describes a chip inside the mobile phone that can detect interference from devices nearby. The phone can then either warn the user of possible interference or even automatically readjust the antenna or frequency to maintain a clear signal.

There's no word on whether or not this technology will be incorporated into the iPhone when it is released, but I'm sure we will see it in future generations of the device.
