My only concern is if it ever drops. I'm sure it'll prevent scratches and scuffs, except for the exposed shiny silver edge (why they neglected to cover that made me halt the purchase of one), but if it lands on a something to dent the surface, what could it end up doing inside the shield? Looks great.
