Motorola wins iPhone injunction, AT&T throttles heavy data users, French iPhone 4S ban rejected





Motorola has won an injunction against the iPhone and the iPad in Germany. The injunction is the result of a patent case that Motorola brought against Apple and the court ruled today that Apple is infringing on the patents.

AT&T has started to throttle the data speed of heavy iPhone data users back to 2G speeds from 3G. Apparently, users will learn they are being throttled after receiving an email telling them they are in the top 5% of users.

Samsung’s attempt to get a ban on the iPhone 4S has been rejected. The French court even made Samsung pay $134,000 in legal fees.
