The iPhone is a few months from hitting Cingular and Apple stores, but that doesn’t stop accessory makers such as Gomadic from making them available now. While I haven’t heard of Gomadic or used any of their products, they do seem to put out high quality accessories. These accessories are available for purchase on the company’s website or get then at Amazon.com.
Key accessories you will need includes a powered lighter that plugs right into your car, which includes a dock to hold the iPhone for $39.95, a leather case ($39.95) with belt clip to protect your very expensive investment, an emergency battery pack for $59.95 and a USB lead for $17.95. The price is relatively on par with existing accessories for other mobile products.
Vincent, I can definiely vouch for Gomadic and their accessories. I’ve been using and reviewing their items for years…so far it is all “good stuff”! :-)
