So the guys over at Mophie have been working on a new accessory for the iPod Classic. This product is called the Wraptor, it is a case for the new iPod Classic that has some sort of rubber bumper on the back that also pops out to be used as a cord wrap for your headphones.

Headphones, usb cable, probably whatever you can fit, then it pops back down over them hiding them away and keeping the cables from getting tangled. The iPod is covered in a transparent polycarbonate shock-resistant shell that the center of the cord wrap part attaches to.

So this device hides your earphones, protects your iPod, and looks kind of cool too. The best part, its not too terribly expensive at $30 each, it should be available in October, and its not just for your iPod Classic, that’s just the pictured model, it will also be available for the new Nano, the Touch, and the iPhone. You can watch them work and look at some wierd sketches over at PlayToExperience.
