MLB app highest grossing, EFO offers portable speaker dock, Toshiba Retina LCD plant gets Apple investment

Apple has offered up the iTunes Rewind recently and unveiled that the highest grossing app for the entire store is the MLB at Bat 2010 app. The app gave fans live video for every game played during the season.

EFO has offered up a new speaker dock that will charge the iPod and play music from your iPhone. The dock has an internal rechargeable battery for use on the go and is called the Rechargeable mini loud-speaker.

Apple has invested money into the Toshiba Retina LCD plant that will be supplying Cupertino with the small panels for its devices like the iPhone. The new factory is set to come online in the second half of 2011.

  1. Fred says:

AtBat is a great app, but it doesn’t give you live video unless you purchase MLB.TV. You get live audio, however.

Not entirely true, Fred. AtBat typically offers one free live game video per day. The only restriction being hometeam blackout rules which may prevent the game from being streamed if it is playing on your local tv station.
