Apple has launched a new adapter for charging the iPhone in Europe. The new adapter allows the charging of the iPhone from a microUSB cable and it isn’t offered in the US.

Samsung is seeking a ban on the sale of the iPhone 4S in France and Italy. Samsung is citing a pair of 3G WCDMA patents that it holds as the reason for the request.
