Since the details of the Prada phone have emerged the rumor mill kicked in to full swing with the obvious accusations that LG copied Apple's iPhone design. Until now LG has been very quiet about these rumors, but they've had enough.

Woo-Young Kwak, the Head of Mobile Handset R&D over at LG has decided to start some finger-pointing of his own. He went as far as to say that Apple actually copied their Prada phone design.

It's one thing for readers around the world to speculate and even imply such things. It's highly unprofessional for the Head of R&D to say that. I asked our own Editor Vincent Nguyen for his thoughts on the situation. His response; “It's not nice to call someone's mother fat.” There you have it folks, lets keep it above the belt.

I’ll follow Steve til the end. Not because he’s better looking than the model, it’s because he’s got my iphone in his hand - damn it.

Yeah, Apple copied LG. So then Meizu copied who?

I wonder if Meizu have been working on their iPhone, I mean M8 for two years…

Saying Apple copied LG is like saying LG copied Palm.

Touchscreen = Copied apparently.

Meizu is a flat out counterfeit. And it’s not due for realease until the end of this year… and only in asia. So they might beat apple to the asian market.

But who cares… it’s a counterfeit, it won’t do the same things at all.

Well according to this post, it seems that Meizu’s CEO, J.Wong admitted to sorta copying the iPhone.
