"To those that doubt him"? As opposed to what, believing in him? Should I be apportioning some measure of faith to Steve Jobs?

Mmm. I have to agree with the naysayers. It really sounds like he's being posed as a religious figure here. I'd have preferred, "On the heels of this news", "Adding fire to this flame", or "In a move that may further silence his critics"... but "for those that doubt him"? I think I've even heard people pronounce his name "Jobe", his return to Apple referred to as "The Second Coming", the new device heralded as "the Jesus Phone", and of course, with the numerous "What Would Jobs Do" references, it really gets to be quite much. I can't imagine anyone saying "For those that doubt him," related to something said by Bill Gates, even though Microsoft has often embodied the very definition of vaporware.

I just want a nice phone, not a Messiah.
