It works almost exactly like the iTunes store on your PC. There is a search function, a featured section.

Song Previews are available as well as downloads. The songs sync to your PC the next time you connect the iPod.

There are “New Releases, What’s Hot, and Genres” buttons at the top. You can view and purchase albums complete with the album art.
The iTunes WiFi store is also coming to the iPhone, but only through wifi, no downloading music through EDGE, as if you'd want to.

Be sure and let us know if as soon as any of you have the little iTune icon or pop up.

Interesting concept. Glad to see iTunes meets iPhone. Interesting concept, buying songs recently played in Starbucks. I don’t know how popular it will become (or if Starbucks gets a cut), or if it’s exclusively Starbucks. Will any readers take advantage of this Starbucks deal?
not likely, if I have my iphone/pod fired up in a starbucks, I’m likely listening to my own music. although, I have been known to research music I hear so it would be nice to know what is playing if I don’t recognize but enjoy it.
