Another very useful application that is brought to us by Makayama has just been approved for sale in the App Store. Makayama is the creator of Voice Dial, the first all in one voice dialing application for the iPhone. iPresenter allows you to wirelessly control your Powerpoint applications in real time, but with more features than your average remote.
You can move forward or backward and even jump to the beginning or the end if you need to. One feature that makes this application a must have is the ability to preview the next slide, never hesitate during a presentation again. You can give your entire presentation without even having to even look back at the screen. Additional features allow you to choose an audio, vibration or no feedback when pressing the next slide button. The only drawback this application seems to have is no Mac support. iPresenter only costs $4.99 USD in the App Store.
You need:
* A PC with Windows XP, 2000, NT or Vista
* Microsoft Office Powerpoint
* The iPresenter PC software
* The iPresenter iPhone software
* Both the PC and iPhone need to be connected to the same network via WiFi or cable.
I purchased this application yesterday but it has been unable to locate my host computer. Both are using wireless connections, same access point, etc. Did you encounter any problems in configuring it?
