They ARE the new microsoft, it is so disappointing, I used to love apple so much, years ago you would meet someone who had a mac too and you would exchange contact details, and talk together over how amazing their products were. I now am faced with second rate hard/soft ware, I avoid updates as they only seem to make things worse, if you are still on 10.4 DO NOT GO TO 10.5, they rushed, and have given a much less enjoyable experience, glitches, restrictions, weird system behaviors. My hope is that they will either get their act together or that I come across a new small developer/company that will provide what users REALLY want, ie relatively open systems that allow users to create/mould their own experience, and not giving nasty ipod touch like updates that prevent users from doing what they want to do, enjoy themselves. oh Apple, so sad to see you go this way.
