We've been hearing reports/rumors from other sources that a 1.1.3 jailbreak is being worked on for release either today or tomorrow. Truth is, these rumors are false. There is no v1.1.3 jailbreak being released soon. There really is no projected date on when a 1.1.3 jailbreak will be available, but the dev team is working hard on it. With v1.1.3's new security, the firmware is a lot harder to unlock and get working with 3rd party apps. Hopefully we'll see a jailbreak, but the SDK is just around the corner in February.

Well we can only hope that it will be here soon.
Apple is not giving us any thing.
Apple is the new Microsoft

I have to agree with jesper, Apple are getting worse, I have been a dedicated mac product user for over 10 years, around 3 years ago they started getting greedy/sloppy with their products and updates, they used to be wonderful, so reliable, just solid! now I am constantly faced with sloppy updates to my macbook pro and imac, and of course the dreadful ipod touch update 1.3, it is embarrassing that they have only released a handful of applications since the ipod touch was launched, it is now february and apple.com still lists ‘January’s ipod touch updates’. They ARE the new microsoft, it is so disappointing, I used to love apple so much, years ago you would meet someone who had a mac too and you would exchange contact details, and talk together over how amazing their products were. I now am faced with second rate hard/soft ware, I avoid updates as they only seem to make things worse, if you are still on 10.4 DO NOT GO TO 10.5, they rushed, and have given a much less enjoyable experience, glitches, restrictions, weird system behaviors. My hope is that they will either get their act together or that I come across a new small developer/company that will provide what users REALLY want, ie relatively open systems that allow users to create/mould their own experience, and not giving nasty ipod touch like updates that prevent users from doing what they want to do, enjoy themselves. oh Apple, so sad to see you go this way.
