According to sources that have been fortunate enough to spend time with the iPhone it has one major flaw, which will surprise you.

iPhone

It has been reported before that the battery will be the biggest issue. However, according to this source the battery life was impressive, even surpassing Apple's promised 5 hours of talking/video/browsing. Their biggest concern was actually with the casing of the phone. Specifically, they were concerned that it was quite slippery.

This has to be the best thing that I've heard pertaining to the iPhone. If someone has spent a good deal of time with it and reports that their main concern was that it was slippery and might be easily dropped, it must mean that they've gotten all of the software issues figured out. I have no problem with purchasing a protective case, I'm clumsy enough with my phones anyway.

Nintendo had a similar issue that they were able to solve… why not a protective case with a wrist strap attached?

Wrist strap is for the wiimote and girls to use on their phones. I can’t imagine myself or any other guys using the wrist strap on the iPhone. Can you?

Heh yeah, I see your point Vincent.

one one hand, yes that’s excellent news! All the issues are resolved, the only thing left is a (questionable) problem of a nice shiny, very-smooth and sleek casing :)

and what’s the problem really? Just hold it a little tighter… I mean, iPods are very drop-resistant, I can’t imagine that the iPhone will be any less durable
