Apple isn’t going to make an iPhone friendly site because their pitch about the iPhone’s web capabilities is that it doesn’t need mobile sites. . . it can browse all sites like a computer, which isn’t really true, and stinks.

This is great, but why does it only work when I point Safari to Google and not with the native Google bar? I would think it’d take minimal work for Google to direct the latter to it. As it is, I’d never have noticed the change if it hadn’t been pointed out here, and I know I’m not alone.
