I think reporting this as fact is rather irresponsible. Reports based upon the actual developer firmware state this feature isn’t included. Prior to reporting something, you should at least attempt to get your facts together.

When I switched to my iPhone I had my work contacts (over 300 of them) in my Outlook. And they all started with the letters in the last name. I quickly found out that I needed to remove that and just let them fall into alpha order, then I found out there was no search. So i’ve been scolling ever since. The search feature sounds great. Although I’ve gotten used to scrolling and may just continue to do so…

Finally!!!!!!!!!! Yes, it is possible to have more than one friend.
I have a lot of contacts too. This feature will make a huge difference.

lol, not that i call them often, but then scrolling thru takes sometimes :) beside 230 contacts is nothing compare to some others that store their whole collection of girl’s number on their iphone :)
