Comments on: iPhone case: look before you buy the Belkin Acrylic case

I’ve owned many devices over the years and I’ve always used acrylic or silicon cases on them – I want to keep them in great shape for resale because I upgrade often…

I’ve never experienced scratching of a device inside a case before – the aluminum on the back of my iPhone is actually pitted!

The Belkin case has some rough edges from the molding process and I think tiny slivers of acrylic are coming off when the case is being handled and ending up between the iPhone and the case.

oh, I might add that the metal part of the iPhone isn’t covered up by invisibleSHIELD, so from the look of the second pic, the Belkin’s Acrylic case will still scratch it up pretty bad

Of course it scratching it — its a Hard case, and all sorts of stuff will get between the case and the phone and scratch it —

Even the soft cases will do it — Get yourself some invisible shield and Wrap that thing up before you put it in a case…..
