  • the New Jersey Institute of Technology is set to start its first class in iPhone app development on October 19. The course will last for ten weeks and 15 students are getting the training for free.

  • New app from Viper Alarms allows user to lock, unlock, and start their car directly from the iPhone. The owners of compatible Viper alarms will need a $299 SmartStart module to use the app with full alarm systems selling for $499.
  • The Adobe Photoshop app that launched yesterday has already been exceedingly popular and is currently the top free download on the app store.
  • Network media player maker Sonos has announced a new iPhone controlled ZonePlayer S5 that sells for $399. The entire music system can be controlled from the iPhone.
