This article is about the SDK. Yes the iPhone has been able to output videos to tv-screen. BUT this was only possible through the Ipod function. 
However NOW it seems developers will be able to use this aswell in their apps, and output images to the tv-screen.</description>

		<description>I must be reading this wrong or something because I&#039;ve been watching videos on my tv from my iPhone ever since I bought it about a year ago! Apple sells component cables that go from your iPhone/touch and into any tv with component inputs. So what&#039;s the big deal here?</description>
