iPhone firmware 1.1.2 is finally jail-broken. The Conceited Software/TouchFree has released its news GUI jailbreak. You will have to be on firmware 1.1.1 to use this GUI and update the firmware to 1.1.2 afterwards. If you are already on 1.1.2 firmware, you will need to downgrade it to 1.1.1 first before running the GUI jailbreak application.

Hey im living in Ireland and I really want an Iphone.As you can guess i cant buy it here well not yet anyway.What i need to know is when i get the phone can I jail break it straight out of the box??or do i need one of those accounts with a network??I ask this becaue in the notes it says” NOTE: PLEASE NOTE THIS METHOD ONLY WORKS ON ITUNES ACTIVATED PHONES”.

Hey Sean, currently jailbreaks are available online for the new 1.1.2 iPhones but are complicated to perform. A new jailbreak should be out pretty soon. You can always downgrade it to 1.1.1 and use that, but the process would be complicated and you would have to re-flash the modem’s baseband to the 1.1.1 version (can’t remember it exaclty). Look for updates online, the easiest method would be to wait about 2 weeks max, they tend to produce a jailbreak solution within that time frame. Thanx to all the ppl making it possible.. :D

i have been looking for days and day, and from what i have found there is no way to jailbreak the iphone with out downgrading it to 1.1.1, but i did find this good site that could help you with the downgrade and jailbreaking prosses .
