Clear Channel Radio announced that iPhone application, iheartradio just keeps getting downloaded. Streaming through iheartmusic, the app is seeing listener growth of 13 percent a week, every week since launching.
The iPhone application has been downloaded more than one millions times. The increase in listeners via the iPhone sees the Clear Channel Radio listener base increasing in total by 15%. If there is a style of music you like, they have it all - Country AND Western.
Through the iPhone, iheartradio works through iheartmusic. iheartmusic streams content from 150 U.S. radio stations at 65Kbps using the AAC audio codec. It is now a top 100 free iPhone app and the number four free music application. On the horizon too, the Company has announced the release of iheartradio for BlackBerry Pearl, Curve, and Bold models.

Wow this is a great tip, thanks!!. I am always looking for some new fun apps to add to my blackberry and of course FREE always sounds good. I went to the site on my blackberry curve http://www.iheartradio.com and since it was compatible it went ahead and downloaded. In a minute or less I was listenign to my favorite radio stations…gonna take this with me to the gym tonight when Im working out. So cool to have tons of variety to choose from. This app is great! Due to the idiotic decision to pull “smooth jazz” out of Chicago (no less).. I can still get access to some of the best music on the air..
I HEART the iHeartRadio application for my iPhone and of course I’m a fan of it on Facebook. A couple of days ago on the Facebook fan page I found an iHeartRadio widget that let’s you stream your favorite radio station or side channel right from your profile.
