I have just read GooSync synchronises iPhone & Google Calendar on your website and some other posts. I am not going to remark on what everybody else has already sounded out as umpteen remarks are funny, but I do think they should input on your knowledge of the topic. My motto - People are about to read what they want to do. In the final stage, they invariably do. The optimal we can long for is to highlight a few things here and there that hopefully allows them to create an educated decision.

Why use a 3rd party server + add another outlook plugin to sync via iTunes when you can just install a direct Outlook to Google plugin and then sync your iPhone that way? It will save you a lot of configuration. OggSync (notice the different spelling) has a simpler configuration.

I'm currently using GooSync to keep my Blackberry and Google calendar in sync OTA and it's awesome! I'll switch to iPhone as soon as they release the iPhone option. Not having OTA sync of calendar has been the deal breaker for me so far.

Maybe Google will release the contacts SDK soon and we can have both calendar and contacts sync OTA with the iPhone.

Yeah, this seems a bit premature, unfortunately. It's too bad -- I've been waiting for this for a while.
