Macworld was right about Apple using the Oscars to tease the 50million viewers of their new iPhone.

I had an agony feeling the iPhone commercial would run very early in the show, perhaps the second or first. Then right after the Loreal commercial, it was. Actors and Actresses from all walks of the world answer “their” phone. Then…well I won’t spoil the surprise ending. Watch the commercial for yourself.

you have to hand it to Apple - they DO KNOW how to come up with a gr8t ad!.

For those old enough, remember the original 1984 Macintosh had “hello” scribed on the screen.

this ad shows that they really worked with hollywood and got big players in on it - very smart.

Just want to thank you for making this available so fast… it’s already in my iTunes, 15:10 Tokyo time. Great ad too, but no surprise here!

no problem jean-paul, the purpose of my iphone’s existence is to deliver the latest, greatest news and rumors - near real time.
