An app called iBluetooth is bringing you one of the most awaited features ever for the iPhone: Bluetooth file transfer. Not only between iPhone and iPhone 3G, but  iBluetooth also can support file exchange between both the Apple smartphone and computers, as well as other Bluetooth-capable devices.

ibluetooth_demoAs you can see in the video, the team behind iBluetooth is working with an iMac and a Sony Ericsson handset.

You’ll need a jailbroken iPhone for this.

Not yet released, but once it is finished and available through Cydia.

  1. Matt says:

This should already be available for the iPhone. Having this kind of crippled Bluetooth is a downer for such a great phone and overall device.

  2. I Agree with Matt. it’s almost as if Apple have left crucial features such as bluetooth, cut/copy & MMS out of the mix so they’d be able to sell a new generation. After all, with a perfect product, who wants to upgrade…

Looking forward to the new features for this remarkable Phone!
