This new system is killing the marketplace, sales wise. Out of 1,800 sales in a month I have had 90% of the customers continue to use the app. None of them are asked to rate the app at any time, Only that 10% are asked to rate it and of course its going to be a 1 star because they dont like it. What about the 90% of the people that do like it!! Based on my actually written reviews I have a 4.5 star app, but because of the broken rating system it's 3-3.5 stars. I even have some 1 star written reviews and those are counted into the 4.5 star rating.
