Even WebbAlert Called out Apple on their anti-iPhone hacking status

Check the video below from 1:30-3:00 minutes. Its all about Apple and their statement about unlocking iPhones causing irreparable damage and possibly bricking them with the next update.

They even threw in the bit about Steve and Woz being old time hackers of AT&T but said that the believed 10-30% Apple gets from the iPhone contracts makes it worth their while to stop hackers. There was also another nifty little tidbit about how someone over at Hackint0sh has said that there future updates will keep the unlocks working.

Hopefully that last bit is true, because the iPhone community is growing, and I think its largely in part due to the hacking community within it. Just go to modmyiphone and look at all the 3rd party apps that have added immense functionality to the iPhone.

Vincent, is the iPhone still your primary device our have you replaced it with some other cutie? Let us know?

I’m still using the iPhone without the phone functionality. Primarily for emails, chat via Apollo IM and internet. I’m still testing out the motorazr 2 on Sprint.
