There's a body of thought that a gadget just isn't a true key player in the tech world if it can't be coaxed into playing Doom. The id Software classic has been pressed into service on cellphones, scientific calculators and all manner of unusual hardware, and it was only a matter of time before someone developed a version for the iPhone.

Right now it's definitely a proof-of-concept needing more work: there's no sound and, more importantly, the controls don't work! But you can still download it and marvel at the demo, and hopefully meanwhile someone clever is beavering away on an intuitive interface.

hi nice post, i enjoyed it
