If Verizon had it I would switch to them. I have had AT&T, Cingular, the AT&T for over 11 yrs and can’t believe their lack of covered areas especially in N.C. where I visit frequently. Verizon works in the middle of nowhere there.

I’m pretty sure a pretty big number will go back to their previous carrier when all carriers setup for iPhone use and AT&T losses the exclusive rights. AT&T system will not be much better until they fix issues between the Cingular and AT&T equipment, whatever upgrades they are doing, and just get some people in the company that stop making excuses and start giving true facts.
I have a feeling when they finally get their act together the system will run fine.
Let’s hope every upgrade won’t be a mess like this.

Sorry but I was typing it on my iPhone and it auto corrects what I Meant is I love my phone the device itself but hate the dropped calls cause of the AT&T network

Well I used to have an ericcson 2 years before the iPhone was released and I never had dropped calls either so ….. I don’t know much on how networks work but I’d imagine that the networks can overload aswell correct me if I’m wrong… Now I have an iPhone 3gS and live it bu hate the dropped calls it does it to me up to 3 times a day
