That's why I just bought a Treo--no worries about installing anything--install what you want, when you want it. Oh yea, one last thing: It has a touchscreen, too.

Yes, browser-based apps suck generally, but you don't have to hook up to the Internet to run them.

I prefer, at the very least, widgets for the applications just like the ones already on the iPhone.

But for the love of God, keep the Java out!

I don't care how it's done, as long as I can do something. I doubt the whole "launch Safari, open a bookmark," etc. etc. More than likely, it will be a real "button" to push, and the OS will tell Safari to handle it, probably without the standard URL bar that accompanies web surfing. Even if I'm wrong, I'm buying it for what it has on it, not what I can install later.

Great. Web apps. Now I have to launch Safari, open a bookmark, then wait for the internet to give me my application?

What about designing cool games that would have worked with Multi-Touch?

Disappointing. Apparently, I'm not the only one who agrees with that.

Apple stock is down by 4+ points.
