Well only time will tell, his full story can be found here but the reporter’s main arguments is that due to apple competing with other cell phone manufactures and not computer makers that Apple’s iPhone design will be a flop. His other point is that when consumers are purchasing a cell phone they care more about their network provider’s quality of service and people won’t trust Apple’s iPhone to prevent let’s say those drop calls that we all tend to have sometimes.
He sounds more like he’s afraid of the iPhone than he’s willing to try it, and to say that due to a more competitive phone design market it won’t stand a chance, sounds ridiculous. He must have forgotten that for the last three or four year’s almost everyone has been trying to copy the iPod and Apple’s other computers such as the mac mini and the iMac and the one thing apple does great is design. He finished up saying people will probably buy a Motorola and to that I say, they had their chance and their Razr is losing it’s juice and now it’s time for Apple and the iPhone to “WOW†the world at Macworld.
