When I first saw this story, I thought Citizen, the same company that made my watch, had made a special edition iPhone which didn’t make much sense. There is a reason why that didn’t make much sense, its because they didn’t make it, Citizen: Citizen made it, which is a whole other company entirely.

I took a look at the Citizen: Citizen website and saw some of the stuff they were selling, lets suffice it to say that the store isn’t for the middle or lower classes, but they do have some pretty cool looking products, and they are very edgy with some of their products. Now that things were starting to make more sense, they show a $2000 price tag to purchase one of the all black ccPhones.

Other than an all black iPhone, it appears the dock has also been blacked out, and they have added some artwork for the screen, a ton of information, some videos, some music, and Citizen: Citizen’s very own address book in v-cards, that last one will be updated a couple times a year too. No service is included, so you’ll have to get it activated by one of the Apple approved service providers. They are just 8GB iPhones, and are on pre-order now from their site for $2k each, they are set to ship on the 15th.
