As promised, Cingular is sending out updates regarding the iPhone. The first such one went out today to over 1 million people.
It really wasn’t much of an update though, it really just thanked us for signing up to receive email updates and told us about a few of the features that we already knew about the iPhone.
I’m really curious what the point was of sending out an update to tell us that that they would be emailing us with updates in the future. I got all excited when I saw it in my inbox, only to get let down. I’d shoot you a link to the iPhone page on their website, but they don’t like that.
some update is better than no update at all – i personally think this is indeed a good sign that the iPhone will arrive in the time frame that Apple and AT&T promised – which is 3rd week of June.
