It appears that much of the online world is accepting and adapting to Apple’s iPhone. Walmart is the latest to adapt their online store specifically for the iPhone. Just navigate to Walmart.com and you will be directed to an iPhone specific portal.

The site is very much like the regular HTML version, just adapted for the much smaller touchscreen. From the initial home page you can browse through products by category, current specials or even the list of approved $4 prescriptions. You can even create your own shopping list while physically shopping at the store for those items you have to wait for.

Want to search the local store? Just pull out your phone and look to see if they have what you’re looking for for immediate pickup. Unfortunately you will have to visit the actual website to purchase an item. The Walmart web app is basically only for browsing products and getting information.

Microsoft is going to launch a web-based version of their office Suite sometime in 2009. This web-based version will include full versions of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OneNote. Users will be able to access this service from anywhere with a web browser.

All the popular web browsers will be compatible with this web service including Mozilla’s Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Apple’s Safari web browser. Of course the question arises, will this service work with the iPhone? Sarah in Tampa has put together a quick Q&A to clear these questions up.

Fortunately for all of us who have decided to stick it out with the iPhone, our long wait is finally going to pay off. The upcoming Web Office Suite will work just fine with the iPhone’s Mobile Safari Browser. There are a few rumors going around right now saying that a private preview of this service will be available by the end of 2008 but we wont be holding our breath.

iPhone has finally gotten its first adult webcam entertainment service. iPhone owners enjoy watching video on the large iPhone display, but until now were limited to the YouTube application, now there is something for everyone.

Xgoes.mobi has taken the bold move to bring adult entertainment to the iPhone by offering this exclusive webcam web service. This service is offered online only because Apple would never ok an application that contains adult content. The web-based service allows users to text chat with a number of LiveCam girls over hundreds of channels. Just go to xgoes.mobi with your iPhone’s Browser. One-click billing via cellphone is offered in all countries that offer this service, in all other countries the option for credit card billing is an option.

Web apps is a well known part of the iPhone’s system and paves the way for the ability to run applications within the MobileSafari browser. Up until recently, we all thought this meant web-oriented apps required Safari to run. However, with the release of iPhone 2.1, a sneaky new feature rolled out that allows for fullscreen web-app use without launching Safari at all.

Let me make a word of note, however. It is only web-apps that have been coded to go fullscreen that will work without Safari. The idea is to make the web apps feel more like native iPhone applications.

If you want to see your apps in fullscreen, try out the following step-by-step guide from IntoMobile:

Fire up your iPhone’s Safari browser

Navigate to “http://webapp.net.free.fr/Demo/Index.html”

Save the webpage/web-app to your homescreen

Hit the “+” button along the bottom navigation bar

Select “Save to Homescreen”

Go back to your homescreen and fire up the newly saved web-app

Enjoy using the web-app in full-screen mode with 100% less Safari – Notice the absence of any browser navigation controls (URL field, bookmark button, etc.)
