Walt Mossberg: Samsung Instinct is no iPhone

by ashoperon on June 13, 2008

Walt Mossberg has been playing around with the Samsung Instinct for Sprint for a while now, and has something to say about the device. That is, it is no iPhone. According to Walt, the device is nice, but it is lacking in some areas that he really would have liked the device to excel in. According to him, the interface is just not pretty enough. continued »

by Chris Davies on April 8, 2008

Flashback to the end of last week and the furore of Walt Mossberg's apparent "60 days to a 3G iPhone" statement; back then, we assumed Walt either had a badly-observed NDA or a particularly prescient moment, but now the godfather of consumer tech reviews is claiming he meant nothing by his comment.  Silicon Alley Insider spoke with the bearded lovely, who is supposed to be "bemused" by the excitement he's ... continued »

by Chris Davies on July 5, 2007

I'm sure we'd all love to have our very own Walt Mossberg to answer tech queries and generally be adorably bearded, but until they bring out a pocket-version we'll have to make do with his Mossberg's Mailbox column.  Walt is helping out the iPhone confused by answering some commonly asked questions, such as to what extent AT&T allow you to swap SIM cards (answer: not much) and how flexible the Bluetooth ... continued »
