Hitachi G-Connect, Samsung denied iPhone 5 access, iTunes festival HD stream

The Hitachi G-Connect will land this July for about $200 and will pack in 500GB of storage. The device lets the iPhone user stream content from its HDD and access the web too.

Samsung has been denied their request for early access to the iPhone 5 as part of the ongoing legal battle between it and Apple. It is also looking like Apple will not get its request injunction on Samsung devices either.

Apple will be offering a free streaming app for the iTunes Festival 2011 show. The app will stream in HD and should be cool for music fans.

Seagate makes all sorts of storage solutions for outside and inside your computer and other device .The latest new storage device is the GoFlex Satellite and the device has an app that allows the iPhone and iPad to storage data and stream video from the HDD.

A retailer is claiming that the iPhone 5 is due to land November 21. The retailer making the claim is Phones4u; naturally there is no official comment from Apple.

A new update for the iPhone game Angry Birds Rio is available. The update brings block-destroying action to the beach and looks like fun.

Dropbox brings cloud storage to iPhone

Dropbox is a cloud based online storage solution that has been available for computers for a while. The service launched an iPhone app this week that allows the iPhone user to store content on the cloud.

To use the app you need a Dropbox account and the desktop software. Files placed in the Dropbox can be accessed from anywhere. That means anything you add form your iPhone while connected to the Internet.

Photos and video can be uploaded from the iPhone to the service and you can listen to music shared across the Dropbox folder. The only catch is that you have to pay for the service. 50GB of storage is $10 per month and 100GB is $20 per month. The app itself is free.
