Apple rejects app and launches its own version, Kee Utility iPhone dock, Apple dock connector patent

Apple has rejected an app called Ads Tube that aggregated all the iAds in one place for lacking functionality. Apple then turned around and launched its own app with the same features called iAd Gallery raising some eyebrows.

Apple gets limited pinch-to-zoom patent, iPhone coming to Target and Sam’s, Foxconn confirms price increase

Apple has been granted a limited patent on pinch-to-zoom technology for multitouch displays. The patent has a few limitations that will mean most phones on the market are fine with their pinch-to-zoom. Apple's patent covers pinch-to-zoom and then pinching to zoom again within a set period.

iLuv iMM747 speaker dock, Apple loses patent infringement case, ADT Pulse controlled by iPhone

iLuv has premiered a new speaker dock that can charge and play the iPad, iPhone, and iPod. The dock uses an adjustable system not needing trays and will sell for about $150.

iHome has unveiled a new iPhone speaker dock that charges the phone and lets you play music at the same time called the iP3. The device is notable for DSP processing and 50W of power.

A patent from Apple has offered a glimpse at the future features for the iPhone and other Apple devices. The AirPlay and AirPrint features will add printing from the iPhone and the ability to wirelessly connect devices like speakers and docks to the iPhone.

Google backs Android and HTC, Apple may force HTC to remote cripple smartphones, AT&T CEO says iPhone important for some time

Google has announced that it is backing HTC and Android in the patent feud between Apple and HTC. Google wasn't named in the suits, but HTC builds its Nexus One device.

A new patent has been published by Apple that outlines a way that Apple can make social networking and video calls use location aware features. The feature would allow you to go to where a person you are talking to actually is.

A patent application from Apple has turned up that shows a very interesting dock for the iPhone. The dock uses a spongy elastic material co to conform to the iPhone.

iPhone Buzz top picks: AT&T profits soar on iPhone, Nokia suit, and iPhone gaming

Bloomberg reports that AT&T profits topped estimates on Wall Street mostly on the backs of iPhone customers and TV. I hope the booming profits mean that AT&T is set to fix its shoddy network and make iPhone users happy they use AT&T.
