Apple files patent for multi-touch plus

So far, the multi-touch interface on the iPhone has kind of just been a novelty. Sure, it changes the way we use the phone, but it hasn't completely overhauled the way we think about interacting with technology. Pogo Stylus Works Well With iPhone

Some people just don't love the touch part of the iPhone. Sure, they love the idea of it, but if you have large fingers or aren't quite so nimble, even zooming in can't help you touch the right links. New iPhone to come in 2.8 inch screen size as well?

Apple is already shrinking the screen size on the iPhone down from 3.5 inches to 3.2 inches, which is not that severe of a drop. It is just enough to allow the device to cut down on battery life a little, and to make it thinner. Intel confirms larger iPhone like device?

According to an article published on a German website, the manager of Intel in Germany has confirmed that Apple will be shipping a device that will sport their new Atom processor. We had seen the rumor for a tablet like device, that could supposedly be launched at WWDC. If this leak does turn out to be true, it definitely adds some credibility to the rumor. continued »
