The deal was allegedly confirmed when a response from Apple to a lawsuit alleging monopoly was filed with courts.

Prosecutors in the case against Gizmodo in the iPhone prototype scandal are citing a confidential informant as the reason details in the case are being kept secret. Any public disclosure would compromise the identity of the informant.

LotusLive Meetings has now come to the iPhone with a new app. The app lets the user join a LotusLive webcast and share files using a 3G or WiFi network.

A new tablet, called ModBook, will be released by Other World Computing and the new company start-up Axiotron. It will sport Mac OS X, and use pen technology from WACOM (specifically a WACOM pen will be included). The tablet will also take advantage of the InkWell technology in OS X. InkWell is the advanced technology from Apple that allows you to use (among other) WACOM tablets. Many people think that InkWell was, and still is, for an upcoming tablet product released by Apple.

This product isn’t just a third-party wannabe tablet mac; It goes beyond that. A GPS Navigational system is also included, called the SiRFstar 3.
Other Word Computing is known for their sales and support of Mac products, along with a vast amount of hard drives, optical drives, memory, and iPod accessories. Axiotron, on the other hand, has no track record, so it will be interesting to see how this team-up with the companies will go.

aMobileMe will be at MacWorld to bring you exciting news on the coolest third-party Mac Tablet to date!
