If you are using an iPhone in iOS 5 and you prefer the looks and style of the Android autocorrect bar, you have a very similar autocorrect bar hidden inside your phone. To activate it you need to grab the iBackupBot app and back your device up to iTunes. Then using the software open it back up.

For a certain need, I think this "mainstream approach" keyboard for the iPhone or iPod Touch is helpful. "If you want to get a bit more typing done with a bit less cluttter, you'll no doubt be quite a bit more impressed," as Engadget wrote.

Wow. A new patent application for iPhone during Christmas holiday! The new patent called Swipe Gestures for Touch Screen Keyboards and creditted to Wayne Westerman. Seems it's very useful additions to the iPhone's on screen keyboard. But MacRumors says that Westerman multi-touch patent applications "always seem to be more ambitious than practical".
