A controversial new online store called Cydia Store opened late last week offers unauthorized apps for jailbroken iPhones. Apple launched its popular online store back in July, and it has become wildly popular.

I think it's worth reading and discussing: please don't jailbreak your iPhone, a PCMag blogger wrote. According to blogger Larry Seltzer, there are serious security implications behind the jailbroken iPhone. [Apple has recently publicly saying that "jailbreaking" an iPhone is breaking the law and voiding the warranty.]

Mozilla and Skype also joined in to endorse a request by the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) for an exemption to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act related to iPhone jailbreaking --which is a practice that Apple Inc. considers against the law.

It's another application which helps us to have copy/paste function on the iPhone. The similar app called MagicPad, which has hit the App Store August last year, can only copy and paste text from within the app. But now, an app called Clippy, which has no problem with cross-app copy and pasting, but unfortunately it works only with the jailbroken ...

iPhone photography rocks! Not only concentrated on enhancing iPhone photos with software, but Snapture has now also offered a hardware: Xenon Flash attachment. The protoype unit produces an instantaneous flash more than 100 times brighter than any conventional LED flash accessory. Yay!

As promised the iPhone Dev team has delivered the 2.2 firmware jailbreak in the form of the Pwnage tool and Quickpwn for both Mac and Windows machines. This update seems to be the real deal breaker in regards to future unlocks.
