Ultrasn0w to get iPhone 3GS unlock thanks to old hack

Thanks to an unaddressed security flaw, the iPhone Dev Team have announced that they will soon update their ultrasn0w unlocking tool to work on the iPhone 3GS.  The exploit, known as 24Kpwn, was first discovered in the iPod touch 2G, and used in the redsn0w tool to jailbreak that PMP. The Dev Team release Ultrasn0w for iPhone 3G

It's the latest news from the iPhone Dev Team: they have released their latest tool, Ultrasn0w, which unlocks the iPhone 3G for use with any carrier. App developer agreement puts a ban on jailbreaking

Mozilla, Skype back move to decriminalize iPhone jailbreaking

Mozilla and Skype also joined in to endorse a request by the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) for an exemption to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act related to iPhone jailbreaking --which is a practice that Apple Inc. considers against the law. continued »

Copy-paste coming to jailbroken iPhones

It's another application which helps us to have copy/paste function on the iPhone. The similar app called MagicPad, which has hit the App Store August last year, can only copy and paste text from within the app. But now, an app called Clippy, which has no problem with cross-app copy and pasting, but unfortunately it works only with the jailbroken ... continued »
