I remember back when the original iPhone came out, there was much buzz surrounding the possibility of it being released in Canada. Unfortunately the only carrier that uses GSM phones is Rogers Wireless, and due to their outrageous data plans, it was unlikely that it would ever be introduced to the north. Can existing AT&T customers upgrade to the iPhone 3G? Yes!

Per AT&T representative Brad Mays, current iPhone customers can of course upgrade to the 3G iPhone and pay $199 for the 8 GB model or $299 for the 16 GB version.  They will need a new two-year contract. 3 to bring iPhone to Hong Kong and Macau

In a very brief press release, 3 has announced that they will be bringing the iPhone to Hong Kong and Macau, two markets where as of now, the iPhone is not officially available. Of all the countries and territories that 3 has coverage in, Hong Kong and Macau are the only ones that 3 has been rewarded a contract to carry and sell the iPhone in. continued »

Apple gets the iPhone trademark in Japan

Apple jumps to 103 on the FORTUNE 500 list

Apple has been making some moves in the last year. I am not just talking about product sales either. Apple has jumped up to number 103 on the FORTUNE 500 list. The FORTUNE 500 is a list of the 500 top companies according to net revenue. Last year, Apple was 121. This 18 spot jump is a result of almost $3.5 billion in profits last year. continued »
