Cleaning the iPhone: Do Not Use Glass Cleaner!

by Interns on July 14, 2007

Ryan is very proud of the video he produced on how to clean the iPhone. Unfortunately, Apple clearly stated not to use window cleaners, household cleaners, aerosol sprays, solvents, alcohol, ammonia, or abrasives to clean iPhone. It has always been common sense (at least for me) to steer clear of any and all of the cleaning solutions mentioned above when cleaning the screens of my phones or laptops. These ... continued »

by Chris Davies on July 5, 2007

iPhone hack and tweakery continues apace, with DVD Jon turning his loathing of all things locked to bear on the AT&T-hugging handset. He's found a way to emulate the iTunes server, taking a brand-new and never previously activated iPhone and fooling it into working. So far it's operating as a web-browser over WiFi and as an iPod - no calling - but I'm sure there are busy beavers (not literally ... continued »
