Never ones to let a potential scam go uninvestigated, the Gizmodo boys released their Hong Kong wolfhounds to check out the 100% Unlocked iPhone! offer seen last week. Turns out the service will be decidedly familiar to anyone who has been reading MY iTablet lately: they're basically selling iPhones that have been pre-unlocked with an $80 TurboSIM.

Can't wait to get your hands on an iPhone? Apparently there is a Chinese exporter that has managed to get their hands on 500 of them.

Yes folks, someone is selling an iPhone. Though neither Apple or Cisco will be seeing the profits from this one.
The iPhone has inspired many other companies to rethink the way phones are designed, and many iphone “clones†have been floating around. This is one of the first iPhone “rip-offs†that I've seen thus far.

New iPhone Ads Now Available on Apple.com!
Apple iPhone release date is June 29th, and new video of iPhone ad!
The stunt pulled by MPhone.net is inexcusable. The online cell phone retailer claimed that due to a technical error, which lead MPhone webmaster to inadvertently post availability of the Apple iPhone in March.
